German Army Order of Battle 8th Army Service Units 11 March 1938

 

The staff officers in the Army Headquarters responsible for the various service units were:   Army Supply Officer (Armeenachschubführer): All supply units, specifically assigned security units, and motor transport units. He was also commander of the Army Supply Command.   Army Intendant (Armeeintendant): All rations and rations adminstration units.   Army Physician (Armeearzt): All medical units. He was also commander of the Army Medical Regiment.   Army Veterinarian (Armeeveterinär): All veterinary units.   Army Field Postmaster (Armeefeldpostmeister): All field post units.   Korück. Commandant of Army Rear Area Security (Kommandant des rückwärtigen Armeegebiets): All military police and security units.
