63rd (2nd Northumbrian) Division

The 2nd Northumbrian Division was formed from the Home Service men of the Territorial Force units in the 50th Division, it was formed in Great Britain in January 1915. The Division remained in Great Britain and by July 1916 the Division had been broken up. The Brigades remained intact until the end of the year. The Royal Naval Division in France now became the 63rd Division.

2/5th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers. Jan 1915 - Nov 1916. To the 72nd Division.
2/6th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers. Jan 1915 - 27 Nov 1916. To the 72nd Division.
2/7th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers. Jan 1915 - Nov 1916. Left the Division and went to Egypt on garrison duties, arriving Jan 1917.

2/4th Bn East Yorkshire Regt. Jan 1915 - 04 Nov 1916. To Bermuda.
2/4th Bn Yorkshire Regt. Jan 1915 - 09 Nov 1916. To the 73rd Division.
2/5th Bn Yorkshire Regt. Jan 1915 - 09 Nov 1916. To the 73rd Division.
2/5th Bn Durham Light Infantry. Mar 1915 - 31 Oct 1916. To Macedonia as a Garrison Bn.

2/7th Bn Durham Light Infantry. Jan 1915 - 29 Nov 1916. To the 71st Division.
