EDITORIAL

The major effort for the second issue is to add material relating to the Royal Navy, bringing us closer to the name as British Military and not just British Army.  Issue 3 will include the RAF, accomplishing that goal. However, we do have some new material on the Army as well. In particular, we have brought the cavalry and Royal Tank Regiment up through the Second World War.  In future issues we will bring them up to the present, as well as beginning a series of articles on the Foot Guards from 1881 to the present.  Another new item is a complete orbat for the Territorial Army on reconstitution in Jan 1947, including updates into 1950.  For those who might also subscribe to our Orbat Web Magazine , please note that this article contains much more detail than did a similarly-titled article in that publication.
