The force comprises of around 5,000 personnel. Major General McColl of the UK
commands ISAF. The UK will remain lead nation until the Turkish Army takes over
after the Loya Jirga. The Multinational Brigade is commanded by Brigadier
General von Butler, also of the Bundesheer’s 31st Airborne Brigade.
